This electrifying phrase was made famous by the "Voice of the St. Louis Blues", the late Hall of Fame broadcaster, Dan Kelly. Growing up in St. Louis listening to the Blues on KMOX radio, every time Kelly uttered the words "He Shoots!!" you were brought to the edge of your seat waiting for "He Scores!!!!". There was nothing better than a Blues-Blackhawks game on a Saturday night listening to Kelly's call with the crowd roaring in the background. "Federko races across the blue line, hits Sutter cutting in, He Shoots!! HE SCORES!!!!!" I still get chills, honestly I do.
It was from this beginning that my passion for hockey was born. First as a fan, then as a player, and finally as a collector of game worn/used items from the NHL and the St. Louis Blues.
I have created this site to share my collection with you and to serve as an online St. Louis Blues museum and reference for your enjoyment. Some of the finest pieces from my personal collection are on display in the various galleries. I also will be adding rooms to the museum with historical information, statistics, photos, and other facets of this most interesting franchise.
