To say that Wayne Gretzky's brief tenure in St. Louis was insignificant would be the equivalent of saying that a couple of months dating Heather Locklear was a waste of time. Point is, it may have been short but you'll never forget it and it sure was fun while it lasted. The St. Louis Blues are one of only four NHL franchises able to claim the "Great One" among their almuni and are proud to do so. Any genuine legitimate game worn/used Gretzky item is among the most sought after collectible in the hobby. Because of Wayne's short stay in St. Louis, his Blues related items are extremely rare. I was very fortunate to have had the opportunity to acquire this pristine pair of gloves. They exhibit very good use and have been matched to several different photos assuring 100% proof positive that Wayne wore them. It is believed that only 4 pairs of gloves from Wayne's time here are known.
