Pierre Turgeon was quiet and unassuming off the ice. However, on it, he was a very gifted and crafty playmaker and a star. While he scored over 500 goals in the NHL, he was best known for his sleek skating, soft hands, and terrific vision which combined to make him an excellent passer and assist man. He was the elite center on the team at a time when the Blues put arguably one of their finest squads together and captured the President's Trophy in '99-00.
He produced better than a point per game for the Blues over his 5 year tenure.
